National Certification Prep

The demand for educated and properly trained massage therapists is on the rise and many vocational schools do not adequately prepare students for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) Exam.

To fill this demand and to provide customers with a professional massage from certified therapists, Rescue Massage Center offers massage therapy students training and test preparation for taking the NCBTMB exam.

Rescue Massage Center is a private postsecondary education vocational school that provides knowledge and training needed to pass the National Certification Test and Continued Education Units (CE units) for many massage modalities. We make these services available to students at a low cost, and at multiple locations.

Our school provides instructors that are Nationally Certified working professionals, and we create an environment that fosters learning.

The intensive study and tutor sessions are designed to boost the student’s morale and knowledge so that they are well prepared to take the national exam.

Training will focus on taking practice exams on the computer. Development of the training is specific to the areas each therapist needs help in. Therapists will have the opportunity to increase and practice test skills, including memorization, comprehending key areas of focus and critical thinking.

1st Day

• Test taking tips, what kind of
  learner are you?
• Covering Anatomy, physiology,
  and Kinesiology
• Review Exam

2nd Day

• Flash cards
• Massage therapy and Bodywork theory, assessment and practice
• Review exam
• One on one topic with therapist

3rd Day

• Clinical Pathology and Recognition of Various Conditions
• Professional standards, Ethics & Business Practice
• Comprehensive Exam
• Review one on one with therapist
